Volunteer Michal Ofek puts together family care kits in a partnership between the Red Cross and the LA mayor's office to put together 7,000 family care kits to be distributed by the Los Angeles Fire Dept. to families during the Covid-19 pandemic. The initiative was kicked off with volunteers putting together the first 1000 kits at the Los Angeles Emergency Operations office with donations of hand sanitizer, masks, disinfectant and other essential items.
